The business affairs area of production manages and advises on all legal and business matters, including contractual negotiations and network agreements.

  • Well-established relationships within the entertainment, business affairs and legal communities

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time

  • Ability to handle a constant stream of high-priority projects

+ Director of Business Affairs

The Director of Business Affairs manages the company’s business matters, especially (but not limited to) funding applications, partnership agreements and union and employee contracts. The also assist with interim financing documentation and manage tax credits for the production.

+ Lawyer / General Counsel

Advises on all legal matters and binding contracts.

Minimum Qualifications for Business Affairs:

  • Legal training

  • Accounting training

  • Business and legal affairs experience

  • Equivalent training or experience
